Filling your Luck-O-Lantern means rewards for you and a friend, and you don't have to stop after the first payout. During Monopoly GO's Monster Mash season, running from September 23 through November 25, 2026, collected Candy goes toward a lantern you can complete repeatedly. If you're also following the Monopoly Go Partners Event, keep the lantern in mind as another shared goal. Its prizes can include Rolls, Flash Events, Cosmetics, Swap Packs and a Wild Sticker, so there's more at stake than another seasonal decoration.
Make each sticker reward count
A Swap Pack is worth slowing down for. You can replace up to three stickers before pressing Collect, which gives you a chance to improve what you're taking away from that opening. Start by checking which stickers fill empty album spaces. Those are the ones you'll usually want to keep. Then look at anything you don't need and decide where to use your swaps. Don't rush through the screen just because you've earned the pack; choosing what to replace is part of getting value from it.
Check the stickers against your album.
Keep useful additions and replace unwanted stickers.
Select Collect when you're ready.
Collect Candy while you're already playing
You don't need to focus on one activity to move the lantern forward. Candy comes from Sticker Packs, Minigames, Leagues and the Color Wheel, with progress feeding into the same lantern. Packs offer a chance of Candy alongside stickers, rather than making every opening a certain Candy payout. That distinction matters when you're deciding what to expect. Keep an eye on the activities you're already doing, collect what turns up, and remember that a completed lantern lets you start working toward another.
| Activity | Candy opportunity | | Sticker Packs | Possible Candy alongside stickers | | Minigames | Candy collection | | Leagues | Candy collection | | Color Wheel | Candy collection |
Keep album goals separate
Monster Mash has 22 main Sticker Sets, plus three optional Bonus Sets arriving during the season. Those extras have their own rewards, but they aren't required for main album completion. That's helpful if you'd rather concentrate on missing stickers than pursue every extra collection. KPop Demon Hunters and Ghostbusters activities also appear across Racers, Partners and Treasures. They give you other things to work on alongside your sticker collection and Candy progress, without making the lantern your only reason to play.
Know which shared activity you're playing
Trick or Treat works differently from Luck-O-Lantern. You visit houses with a friend and compete in Dice Duels for rewards; finding the hidden Ghost ends that run. Lantern completion, by contrast, leaves you able to collect Candy again during the season. If you're looking to buy cheap Monopoly Go Partners Event, keep that choice separate from how these seasonal activities work. For the lantern itself, watch your Candy progress, check each reward when it arrives, and put useful stickers toward the album spaces you still need.
